Social Studies Curriculum Planning Day - June 11th and/or July 21st:
Social Studies Curriculum Planning Day - designed for a team of social studies teachers (regular content network teacher–leaders and additional teachers) from each district to attend the session to plan district-wide implementation of the Kentucky Social Studies Standard for the Next Generation for the 2015-2016 school year. Decisions about curriculum mapping, pacing, and context topics for various grade levels and courses will be discussed and determined by district teams. Please make sure to sign-up on the same date as the rest of your district team.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.
Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session.
Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.
Attendance Policy:
If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.
Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
