This workshop offers a day of effective, evidence-based and best practice strategies to embed school based therapy into the educational environment.
Through interactive discussions and hands-on labs participants will obtain dozens of new ideas to employ immediately in their classrooms and schools, including more efficient ways to progress monitor, share reports, coordinate services.
The Learning Objectives are:
• Implement evidence-based strategies to increase participation in classroom and school
• Pioneer alternative delivery models for inclusive programming
• Bring therapy sensibilities into the educational environment during all subjects at all times
• Expand the ‘bag of tricks’ with adaptations, accommodations, interventions & technologies
ranging from inexpensive to free
• Individualize curricular materials and environments to promote optimal learning
• Employ time-saving data collection rubrics and other qualitative scales
• Provide sensory seekers, hyperactive or labile children with calming tools
• Communicate more effectively and efficiently with fellow professionals and parents

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.
Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session.
Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.
Attendance Policy:
If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.
Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
