Description: Children with attachment disorders have learned that the world is unsafe and their sole means of coping and surviving in the world are the protective shells they put around themselves These children have trouble trusting others and attempt to control everyone and everything in their world. This session will discuss strategies school personnel can use to build relationships with students that have attachment disorders.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session.
Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.
Attendance Policy:
If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.
Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
