Social Skills, Character Education and Bullying Prevention Member-No Fee Non members-$35

Target Audience: All educators

Description: 

This dynamic and engaging training will provide practical steps to implement school-wide and classroom Character Education and Bullying Prevention programs.  Topics will include: teaching social competencies and positive character traits, creating a comprehensive three-tiered approach to bully prevention, mobilizing bystanders to “Take a Stand,” providing support for targets of bullying, and motivating behavioral change in students who bully.  Participants will leave with practical materials for immediate implementation as well as a long-term approach for school-wide consideration.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
