Target Audience: Elementary and Middle School Teachers, Interventionists, Instructional Coaches

Description: The focus of this session is to explore the conceptual foundations of multiplication and division.  An understanding of vocabulary, problem structures, reasoning strategies, and models for multiplication and division will be examined.  Additionally, time will be spent on fluency.   The use of various tasks, games, and activities that will help promote better understanding of the meaning of multiplication and division and fluency with facts will be presented.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.
