Differentiating Instruction for Middle and High School Teachers Members-No charge Non members-35.00

Target Audience: This session is designed for general and special education teachers working with grades 6-12 to explore planning and designing differentiated instruction for struggling and diverse learners.  

Description: This session is designed for general and special education teachers working with grades 6-12 to explore planning and designing differentiated instruction for struggling and diverse learners.  The focus will be on planning for differentiation of content and formative assessments, teaching methods, alternative student products, and groupings of students in order to aid students in accessing content standards.   Participants need to bring ELA, Math, Science, and/or Social Studies curriculum maps, or a unit of study from one of those contents to fully participate during the session.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
