Specially Designed Instruction Doesn’t Have to be Difficult No Fee Member $35 for Non member

Description: 

We will explore the structure of Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) through a set of six skills that can be used to implement, Explicit, Direct and Scaffolded Instruction.  We will make connections of Supplementary Aids and Services as resources to delivery instruction.  SDI includes the expectation of assessment of learning; participants will discover various methods for assessing and monitoring progress which will lead to more an accurate record of student progress.  We will consider ways to manage procedures and routines for delivering SDI with students while ensuring flexibility and responsiveness.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
