DHH Cadre meeting – Co-teaching 4-17-15 

Speaker: Meena Mann and Carrie Wedding

Target Audience: Teachers of the deaf and hard of hearing, Speech and Language Pathologists, Special Educators who are serving students with hearing loss, regular education teachers who are serving students with hearing loss, audiologists

Description:

Meena Mann, TDHH and SERCD consultant, and Carrie Wedding, special education teacher currently co-teaching language arts in both 5th and 6th grades, will be presenting on co-teaching.  Carrie will discuss how to approach co-teaching services for children with IEPs.  Meena Mann will share her co-teaching experiences as a teacher of the DHH and discuss the best practices in the general education classroom.  Participants will have opportunities for discussions on utilizing appropriate approaches that meet the unique needs of deaf and hard of hearing students.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

CKEC accepts purchase orders, checks, or money orders for payment. CKEC, for auditing purposes, can not accept cash. 

Attendance Policy: If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
