New Special Education Teacher Training – IEP Development 9-29-14

Target Audience: Newly hired special education teachers, Speech Pathologists, School Psychologists

Description:

Participants will become familiar with the requirements for developing a compliant IEP.    As components of the IEP are reviewed participants will practice developing each component using progress monitoring data. Participants are expected to bring to the training an IEP, with progress monitoring data from a student on their current caseload.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

CKEC accepts purchase orders, checks, or money orders for payment. CKEC, for auditing purposes, can not accept cash. 

Attendance Policy: If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
