Speaker: Kari Huber
Target Audience:
Description: Many of our students are taking medications for various conditions. Medications can help reduce the symptoms of hyperactivity, aggression, anger, moodiness, inattentiveness, and impulsivity. Some students may experience dramatic improvement while others experience only modest gains. The medications may come with side effects and risk, and medications may not be the only treatment option. This session will explore the latest research on commonly prescribed medications, and offer practical strategies for monitoring the use of medications for our students.
EILA: No
