Using SmartBoards to Develop Engaging Lessons July 11th 2014

Description:

The availability of SmartBoards is growing in schools across the state.  This hands-on, interactive session will lead participants through the basic operation and capabilities of the SmartBoard, followed by ideas for implementing their use in the classroom.  Then, participants will use that information to design engaging lessons applicable to their content areas.  Each participant should bring a curriculum map or lesson plans for the first few units of study in their course.  Each attendee will leave the session with at least one concrete lesson plan for immediate use in the classroom.

If you have a school laptop with SmartNotebook software, please bring it with you to the training.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

CKEC accepts purchase orders, checks, or money orders for payment. CKEC, for auditing purposes, can not accept cash. 

Attendance Policy: If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.
