Per public comment policy, speakers representing the pharmaceutical industry will be given up to 3 minutes per drug topic to make a presentation to the Committee about that medication. Speakers representing advocacy groups or other interested parties will be given up to 3 minutes to make a presentation which is broad in scope and not drug-specific. Speakers will not be permitted to ask questions of the Committee, the Division of Medicaid, or the State’s Vendor during this meeting. Slide presentations and/or handouts are not permitted
REMINDER: Registered speakers must sign in at least ten (10) minutes prior to the start of the meeting; otherwise, speakers will not be permitted to speak during the public comment period. Also, registered participants whom have not registered to speak will not be allowed to speak during the meeting.
According to the State Fire Marshall, there is a maximum capacity of 80 persons in this room. There are 80 chairs in the room which includes those for committee members and MS DOM staff. You must be seated in order to remain for the meeting; no one may sit and block the doorways; reserved seating is not allowed. Due to limited seating, and to ensure fairness to participating manufacturers, DOM asks that no more than two (2) representatives per manufacturer register for the event. Additional representatives may not switch seats during the meeting as this causes a distraction of the meeting proceedings. For the safety of everyone in this room and the entire building, your cooperation is requested.
