Join us for the ONLY TGA sanctioned Guardianship Mediation Training in the State of Texas!
This 24-hour workshop will provide individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to mediate guardianship related matters. Topics will include Goals of Guardianship, Alternatives, Hot Topics, Mediation Techniques and much more!
After completion, you will receive a certificate with proof of CEUs provided by Texas Tech University and signed by the Texas Guardianship Association and Texas Dispute Resolution System.
Class size is limited to 18 participants. Must have completed the Basic Mediation Training and provide certificate at the time of registration. Preference will be given for those knowledgeable about various aspects of guardianship, geographic diversity, and mediation experience. After selection by the TGA to attend this training, attendees may be required to authorize completion of a criminal background check.
This course has been approved for MCLE credit in the amount of 24 hours, of which 3 credit hours will apply to legal ethics/professional responsibility credit.
JBCC has approved this program for Guardians for 23 total hours (19.5 non-ethics, 3 ethics, 0.5 legislative updates).
Continuing Education Credits for this learning actiity will be awarded by Texas Tech University, Office of the Provost.
Registration Fee:
$325 Early Bird (by August 26th) | $425 Regular
Fee includes: materials, CLE credits and light refreshments. Fee does not cover lodging or lunch. Space is limited and not guaranteed until payment is received. A voucher/PO number will be considered as payment. Cancellation Policy: Written cancellation must be received ten business days prior to the beginning of the training. Cancellations received before this date are subject to a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations after this cut off will receive no refunds. Substitutions may be designated with notification to our office. We reserve the right to cancel training if sufficient enrollment is not met, and will refund registration fees for the cancelled training. Special Accommodations: Persons with disabilities who may need auxiliary aids are requested to contact our office at least seven days in advance to make appropriate arrangements.
