This certification is designed for individuals who wish to train others in Teepa Snow's Positive Approach to Care (PAC) philosophy, providing dementia related awareness, knowledge, and skill development in a classroom, community, or support group setting. Certified PAC Trainers will be equipped to provide accurate, relevant, and helpful content in short training segments. Trainers will be provided several "training kits" which include a training outline, DVD footage, handouts, approved marketing collateral, and CEU application guidelines.

Learners become certified after successfully completing all training requirements. Skill demonstration is part of the process, where the individual demonstrates the use of the PAC skills, facilitation skills, and the ability to actively engage learners. Once certified, the PAC trainer is authorized to use PAC training materials to train others in the PAC philosophy.
A Trainer Agreement and PAC Education License will be made available to all trainees outlining how the provided materials may be used and the necessary requirements to maintain certficiation year to year.
Note: This Certification is not intended to generate income for the trainer. The Certification is intended to supplement trainer knowledge and enhance credibility. It is acknowledgement that the trainer has the experience, knowledge, and skills to train others in the PAC philosophy as it relates to dementia.

Trainers are required to annually document and demonstrate continued competence in order to maintain certification. Details will be provided upon registration.
