April 20, 2017 - Stephanie Fast

Please join us for our 30th Annual Christian Prayer Breakfast featuring keynote speaker Stephanie Fast. Breakfast buffet opens at 6:30 a.m.

No life is exempt from suffering, some more painful than others and in extreme cases beyond comprehension.  Abandoned by her mother at the age of four or five Stephanie Fast was left to wander the war-torn Korean countryside, facing starvation, exposure, persecution and torture because of her bi-racial ethnicity.  She was the product of a Korean mother and an American soldier.  Korean orphans were a problem after the war; bi-racial orphans were a disgrace and considered children of the devil.  While her world of survival brought daily messages of shame and disgrace, whispers of hope fueled her desire to live.  After a few years of wandering left her covered with boils, dirt, lice, ridden with worms and cross-eyed from malnutrition someone saw within her a God given person of beauty and her life would be forever changed.

Today Stephanie is an internationally known speaker who has impacted hundreds of thousands of lives with her compelling story.  From the depths of her heart she testifies that “there is nothing that has happened to me that I would be better off without.” Her first book, She Is Mine tells the story of her first 12 years of life.  She is currently working on the sequel: Spirit of Mine – Living Beyond Survival.
