Partnership Application 

The McKinleyville Chamber of Commerce makes donations to the community by offering "Partnership" opportunities to local organizations/groups/schools.  These opportunities are offered during various times of the year at various events.  They range from something as small as a bake sale or as large as helping with Pony Express Days or the Parade.  Here are some descriptions of the opportunities available.  If there is an event that your organization would like to partner with the chamber on, please fill out the application.  The chamber board of directors will choose a partner for each of the events and let all applicants know their status.  If you have any questions regarding any of the events, please give Heather at the chamber office a call.

2015 Annual Awards Dinner/Auction:  This event will be taking place the end of March 2015 (date to be determined)  The opportunities for a partner at this event will vary.  The time committment will be approximately 4 hours.  APPLICATION DEADLINE FEB 1, 2015

2015 Wine Walk:  This event will take place in the spring.  This partnership requires helpers that are 21 and over.  Partners will be asked to help with ticket sales prior to the event and, set up and registration the day of the event.  APPLICATION DEADLINE IS MARCH 1ST

2015 Pony Express Days Chili Cook-Off Desert Bake Sale:  The Chili Cook-Off will be taking place on Wednesday, June 3rd from 5:30-7:30pm in the McKinleyville Activity Center.  The partner at this event will need to supply their own tables (2) and will keep all the proceeds from their sales.  APPLICATION DEADLINE IS MAY 1ST

2015 Pony Express Days Barn Dance Food Booth:  The Pony Express Barn Dance will be held on Friday, June 5th from 9pm - 12pm.  The partner for this event will submit their idea for the food they would be offering at the dance.  This is a food only booth.  Partners working this booth must be 21 and over.  The partner at this event would need to supply all thier own items for set up and disposable items such as plates, napkins and utensils.  They will keep all the proceeds from their sales.  APPLICATION DEADLINE IS MAY 1ST

2015 Pony Express Days:  There are multiple events taking place from Saturday, May 30th to Saturday, June 6th  in McKinleyville.  This partnership requres that all helpers must be over the age of 21.  This partnership requires planning ahead of time, solicitation from beer vendors, aquiring appropriate licenses etc. prior to the event.  Multiple people are required to staff, set up and clean up the actual event.  The partner for this event will receive 50% of the proceeds after expenses.  APPLICATION DEADLINE IS MARCH 1ST

2015 Pony Express Days Parade:  This event will take place Saturday, June 6, 2015 down Central Ave. in McKinleyville.  This partnership requires extensive time from the partner.  Please fill out an application and contact the chamber office if you are interested in partnering with the chamber on this event.  APPLICATION DEADLINE IS JANUARY 1

2015 Beer Walk:  This event will take place in the fall.  This partnership requires helpers that are 21 and over.  Partners will be asked to help with ticket sales prior to the event and, set up and registration the day of the event. APPLICATION DEADLINE IS MAY 1ST
