Where's The Alaska LNG Project Headed?

Thursday, September 29th
12:00pm - 1:30pm, The Petroleum Club
3301 C St.

This program is sold out.

As Alaskans are considering how best to utilize the natural resources of our state and how to move forward on the largest construction project in North America’s history, it is critical that we hear directly from policy leaders where this project is headed. Understanding this project and its potential impact on Alaska is especially critical during this period of state fiscal challenges.

Commonwealth North is hosting a panel about the Alaska LNG Project. Our panel, moderated by longtime Alaskan journalist Tim Bradner, will discuss the current status of the project and give an outlook on its future.

Our panel will include:

Alaska Senator Cathy Giessel - Chair Senate Resources Committee

Roger Marks - Consulting Economist and former Senior Petroleum Economist at the Alaska Dept. of Revenue

Keith Meyer - President, Alaska Gasline Development Corporation

Larry Persily - Special Assistant to the Kenai Borough Mayor

Tim Bradner - Moderator
