LGBTQ Training 

Presented by The Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ Youth

The Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ Youth – an independent state agency founded in 1992 – is pleased to offer this training on LGBTQ issues that it has developed with EOHHS and the agencies it comprises. Working together over the past two years, we have created a training that will include:

• Key terms and concepts to understand LGBTQ communities;
• Diversity and disparities within Massachusetts’ LGBTQ communities; and
• Concrete strategies and resources to help achieve equity.

Setting this training apart from general LGBTQ trainings is its focus on Massachusetts law, policy, and data, and its focus specifically on the needs of EOHHS agencies and their employees. Managers and supervisors are especially encouraged to attend.
