6:45 pm – Presentations to Outstanding Seniors at BGSU College of Architecture
7:00 pm – Guest Speaker and Presentation

TOPIC: 
Sustainability: Paradigms and Tools

The presentation will review and reinforce the value of foundation sustainability paradigms – The Triple Bottom Line and The Integrative Process.  We will review several available tools that enable project teams to develop deep green measures and third-party certifications that rely on those paradigms.

SPEAKER: 
Gary Shlifer, LEED AP BD+C, O+M, Homes: Senior Project Manager, HLMS Sustainability Solutions

Mr. Shlifer is a passionate advocate of sustainable green vertical and horizontal built environments. He is a LEED Accredited Professional with specialties in Building Design and Construction, Operations and Maintenance, and Homes. He has more than 20 years consulting and education experience in high-performance green building and sustainability and a senior project manager at HLMS Sustainability Solutions headquartered in Cleveland.
