Description of program:
When designers focus too closely on a space's physical layout, they may neglect the acoustics of the space - resulting in longterm implications for the end user.  This session will serve as an entry level introduction to the science of acoustics and its effect on the office environment.  It will also address the common issues that arise from poor acoustical design and offer solutions to designers to aid them in mitigating acoustical issues.
