CEU Speaker: Shawn Baumbaugh, Eldorado Stone

The AIA Toledo Annual Meeting will be an overview of the past year from each of the committees, and is required by our bylaws for voting each of the Executive Committee members into office. It is also a chance to review the budget for the past year, and also to plan the budget for the upcoming year. Please attend and provide input to this important part of our Chapter.

Following the Annual Meeting will be a CEU program presented by Shawn Baumbaugh of Eldorado Stone. He will address the benefits of specifying architectural stone veneer in your design projects, and also provide information on proper installation techniques.  Topics include a breakdown of the innovative mold technology used by the industry’s leading manufacturers of architectural stone veneer and what to look for in a high quality product.  It will also examine a variety of uses for architectural stone veneer, from interiors and exteriors, to residential, commercial and industrial settings.

After completion of the presentation, attendees will be able to:

• Describe key elements of architectural stone veneer
• Discuss design considerations for stone veneer applications of all styles and  environments
• List the benefits of stone veneer
• Explain basic installation considerations and the impact of grouting methods

This program will qualify for 1 hour AIA/CES
