Florida and Southeast Fraternity Exercises 2017
Join us for the 2017 Communion & Liberation Fraternity Exercises for Florida and the Southeast (Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, North and South Carolina).
As Fr. Giussani said: “We come to the Fraternity Exercises in order to revisit the things we always tell each other. Some of them become even more alive in the diversity of our speech. We meet all together because there is nothing, normally, that can help the emotion of the heart or the liveliness of perception of our mind, nothing capable of influence, like a tender, motherly, brotherly, friendly push on our will, more than our coming together.” (Fraternity Exercises, 1992)
We would like to extend the invitation to participate in the Exercises to all those who are already part of the Fraternity or met our charism over the past years and are considering joining the Fraternity of Communion and Liberation. As many times Fr. Giussani has reminded us “adherence to the Fraternity is a personal act of total initiative of the person and not a choice made by a group. It arises as a personal necessity for one's own faith and for the fulfillment of one's own Christian physiognomy.”
During the Exercises there will be the possibility of enrolling in the Fraternity and paying toward the common fund.
We remind you that children are not allowed to participate and everybody is required to sleep at the location where the Exercises take place.
We remind you to bring the Song Book, Book of Hours, and a note pad and pen to take notes.
There are single and double occupancy rooms available, at $240 and $200 respectively. Single rooms are only a few and assignment is done on a first-come first-served basis. Spouses can register together by adding a Participant in the Registration Page and completing their Spouse Information.
Dinner is not included on Friday night, although we will have Mass that evening.
Lunch will be included on Sunday.
