Christina has over 20 years of experience in public accounting including seven years with a large regional firm. Since joining REDW, Christina has worked primarily with middle market companies in technology, franchisors, real estate, and construction. Her areas of practice include helping clients achieve maximum financial benefits through comprehensive tax structuring and compliance management. She regularly addresses issues specific to these industries, including structuring and complex reporting, multi-state nexus and compliance, credits and incentives, and accounting methods.
With more than 10 years of experience specializing exclusively in the State and Local Tax arena, both in a public accounting role and as a SALT specialist for an international clothing retailer, James has dealt with sales and use tax compliance for every state in the U.S. and Canada. Previously, James spent nearly five years working at the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department in a variety of roles. In 2017, James was recognized by Albuquerque Business First as a winner of its prestigious “40 Under Forty” award.
