Experience The Brush Off! – the interactive, live painting competition of the season! Witness the energy and outpouring of creativity of 16 talented local artists as they actively create art, and place your votes to help determine which artist will be crowned Artist of the Evening.
EVENT DETAILS
VOTE
Artists will showcase their skills and creativity during several elimination rounds of this live painting competition. Guests will cast their votes to determine which artists proceed each round, and which artist will ultimately become the night’s champion.
BID
Over 35 original pieces of art will be created live in front of event guests. It’s all or nothing in this competition – there are no do-overs. Guests can then bid on this art in support of the Children’s Museum.
MIX & MINGLE
Guests will enjoy delicious cocktails and mouth-watering appetizers while exploring the Children’s Museum’s galleries and watching fine art take shape.
LOVE ART
All the event activities are just window dressing for the main draw – which is artists expressing their creativity through original painted works. This event celebrates artistic expression at its very core.

WHAT AM I SUPPORTING?
The Children’s Museum is a registered non-profit children’s charity (#10348 0943 RR0001) that relies on earned revenue, including donations received through our fundraising events, to cover approximately 86% of our operating costs. As such, your support of The Brush Off! event is extremely meaningful. Proceeds generated will enable the museum to enhance exhibits, create educational programs, and help fund the Free2Play Access Program which provides free museum visits to under-supported children in our community.
