Pontiac Community-based Doula Stakeholders' Meeting

On behalf of Black Mothers’ Breastfeeding Association (BMBFA), our Pontiac Champion Angela London and our partners: Oakland County Health Department, St. Joe's Oakland, Stork's Nest (Lambda Rho Zeta Chapter), and Healthy Pontiac, We Can!, we introduce to you the Pontiac Community-based Doula Stakeholders' meeting. During this meeting, we will be discussing potential opportunities for Community-based Doula Training in the Pontiac area.

In late 2018, BMBFA received national accreditation for its Community-based Doula Training Program. We have also been recognized by the State of Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity as a state-approved licensed proprietary school for community-based doula training. We are extremely excited about these achievements that now allow us to expand our reach far beyond our current program participants.
