KIVA developed this course for tribes that have on-going or upcoming projects.

The purpose of project management is to plan the project to a successful completion accomplishing the listed goals and deliverables. identifying and manageing risks, resource utilization and management, budgeting and clear communications is key.

Fundamentals of Project Management will focus on construction project management. This course will provide an introduction and overview of construction in Indian Country. Over the course of three days, participants will become knowledgeable about project management, including projects under the Self-Determination Act statutes.
