ARPA Final Rule, Denver, CO - 22 September 13 - 15 

KIVA developed this training course to familiarize tribal governments with how, under ARPA, the State & Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (SLRF) provides $360 billion to state, local and tribal governments, of which $20 billion is established as a tribal set-aside to support tribal response to and recover from the COVID-19 public health emergency.

The US Treasury initially published its Interim Final Rule on May 17, 2021, to provide interim guidance on the application and use of the SLRF; and requested comments from tribal governments and the general public that would be used in the publication of the Final Rule.  After receiving and carefully consideraing the comments the US Treasury addopted the Final Rule on January 6, 2022.  The US Treasury made revisions to the SLRF program.
