Spirits of the Land - Kilmartin Glen

Kilmartin Glen.  Photo Ken Fisher

Set in a beautiful valley, Kilmartin Glen is the broad area surrounding the village of Kilmartin north of Lochgilphead and south of Oban.  There are at least 350 ancient monuments within six miles of the village, of which around 150 are prehistoric. They include burial cairns, rock carvings, and standing stones, as well as the remains of the fortress of the Scots at Dunadd.

The Glen is a ceremonial complex where people and spirit have interacted for over 6,000 years. It is a place of power where the ancestors and the nature spirits that wish to work with us can be met.

In the course of the weekend participants will be initiated into the skills and discipline required for shamanic journeying in the Middle World.  With the support of the circle of our travelling companions and guidance from our spirit allies we will seek the paths and portals that lead to the spirits of the land.  From such meetings great healing can arise.

PLEASE NOTE: This event is best for people with some experience of shamanic journeying.  For example who have attended the "Way of the Shaman" workshop or similar.

The fee of £350 includes all travel, meals and accommodation from Friday evening to Sunday lunchtime.

A deposit of £50, returnable till 1 Sept, will secure a place.
