Be Yourself, Everyone Else Is Taken

Jessica Pettitt, M.Ed., CSP, asks, “Do you know what differentiates you from other speakers or trainers in your topic area?  Do you really?”  After speaking for fifteen years and stirring up tough conversations for all kinds of audiences on college campuses and now in associations, Jessica has learned a lot about who she isn't willing to be and who she accidentally is.

Be prepared for a highly interactive, high energy, humorous afternoon where NO question is off limits as Jessica leads an exercise to help you know how to lean on what makes you YOU and not THEM. Then just as important we will tackle the question of your competition. Who is your competition?  Who aren't you?  Jessica is a member of our own NSA-NC and a member of NSA’s Board of Directors.

Geek Speak

Back by popular demand!  Rodney Dunican will once again captivate us as he shares a short “how-to” lesson on another of the latest and greatest uses of technology that can assist us in speaking better and speaking more often.

Board Elections

It’s that time of year; each May we elect and charter a new NSA Northern California board of directors for the next twelve months. There will also be a brief “State of the Chapter” presentation from current treasurer and president-elect Jim Ware. This is an important opportunity for chapter members to express their ideas and suggestions about our future as a professional community.

Optional lunch meal is available to order.  Deadline to order lunch is Tuesday, 4/28/15.  This all-day event includes an optional lunchtime networking with chapter members and presenters. Or you can choose to make your own lunch arrangements and eat out.

Registration opens at 8:00 a.m.
