2022 Monroe Farmers Market Application 

 
 

We thank you for your interest in participating in this year's event and we look forward to working with you in 2022. Please allow for up to 8 weeks processing your application with the high volume of applications we recieve. Please read entire page before submitting an application. 

The Market will be held May 25th-September 7th every Wednesday rain or shine.

Operating time is: 3-7 PM. Our primary goal for the Market is to provide our community and the surrounding areas with local, farm-fresh goods, products and services. 

Event Dates: Wednesdays

Event Time: 3 pm to 7 pm

Event Setup: 12pm - 2:30pm YOU NEED TO BE READY TO SELL BY 3 PM

LOAD IN/LOAD OUT: Booth set up time is NOT permitted before 12 pm on market day. Vendors are also not allowed to tear down until 7pm.  All vendor spaces must be cleaned out by 8:30 pm. 

Speed: Vendors must adhere to a speed of 5mph when entering or exiting the market for loading.

Load in: Occurs between the hours of 12 pm and 2:30 pm on market day. All booths must be set-up and ready to begin selling by 3pm pm. Arriving late may mean you have to park outside the market area for unloading and carry supplies to your booth.

Load out: May only occur after 7pm. Vendors will be loaded up and shall leave the site no later than one hour after the market is closed. Pack out what you brought in. (no garbage left behind, canopies taken down, etc.)

Space Assignments: 
standard stall space is 10x10. $35
Double stall space is 10x20 . $60
ALL tents/canopies must provide weights.

  • We are do not currently accept Direct Sales Vendors or Multi Level Marketing at this time.

  • Booth placement is determined by the market manager.

  • All Vendors will be notified of acceptance and an invoice or payment link for space will be emailed. Please check your junk mail in case your invoice winds up there.

  • All cancellations within two weeks of the market date will not be refunded or pushed forward.

Primary Guidelines: Keeping your booth and the market clean! The market is located in the Galaxy Theatres Parking lot. Vendors must keep their space clean and attractive during market hours as well as cleaning up their space after the market closes. Including but not limited to: sweeping up debris from your booth and removing trash.

Vendors using disposable paper products are to bring a sufficent garbage can. All vendors should bring a broom and dust pan. Flower and Farm vendors may be asked to put a tarp down in their work area to prevent grinding of flower or floral material into the concrete.

ALL vendors are required to haul out their own trash. The market trash & recycle bins are for customer use only. We want to keep our community clean for everyone! A FINE of $20 will be assessed to vendors who do not adhere to these guidelines.

The Monroe Farmers Market is a smoke free and tobacco free market (no vaping either). Absolutely NO exceptions.

Pets: Vendors are NOT allowed to bring pets to the market. Service dogs that are trained and meet RCW 49.60.040 regulations are allowed in accordance to state law.

Fees are collected in advance and are non-refundable. You must pay for the first market date in advance and fee's wll be collected at the market for the next market date in advance.

PLEASE DO NOT CREATE YOUR OWN EVENT. WHEN YOU CREATE YOUR OWN EVENT IT DILUTES THE ORIGINAL EVENTS CREATED. PLEASE "ADD" THE EVENT TO YOUR OWN FACEBOOK PAGE. 

Our expectations of you:

  • Your space ready to start selling on time  
  • Email promotional pictures. Pictures are very important in the process of marketing the event.
  • help marketing the event to your own customers
  • set up and breakdown of your booth- we do not have a helper to help with unloading or setting up.
  • No requests to move spaces or transfer your booth to a friend.
  • Weights for your canopy. The market manager will inspect every booth to make sure they are secured properly. If you do not have weights of at least 6lbs we will ask you to provide some or get weights.
  • bring your own scale if you are selling products by weight
