The Paw Project educates the public about why declawing is inhumane, and advocates campaigns to legally ban declawing at the community and state level.

The Critter Corral Guinea Pig Rescue
Critter Corral was founded in 1999 to find homeless and unwanted guinea pigs new, loving homes. Their volunteers can answer questions about the care of a guinea pig, and introduce guests to some of their guinea pigs.

Green Tours at 12 and 12:30 pm
Open House with the cats and kittens 12-2 pm

Ask your friends and family to support you by making a pledge. Create an online fundraising page to email to your friends at http:// www.firstgiving.com/23749 and personalize your appeal with photos of your pets, family members and a message about why you are walking. Supporters can donate online, payments are displayed on your fundraising page and a check will be sent directly to Harmony House. Supporters can also make checks out directly to Harmony House for Cats. Let them know that every pledge is a tax-deductible donation.

We walk rain or shine!
Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome to walk the route, but can only be in the courtyard. Dog-owners will need a friend to hold their dog if they come inside for the restrooms, refreshments, to visit the cats or take part in post-Walk activities. Harmony House’s staff and volunteers cannot be responsible for any dogs at the event.

Children of all ages can attend, strollers are welcome on the walk, but cannot be taken into cat rooms at the shelter. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times especially when visiting cats in the shelter.

Every registered walker receives a 2015 Walk t-shirt with an original design by Jeanie Ramos, winner of this year's design contest. Turn in your pledge money by November 15th to be eligible for gift cards and other prizes.

All of the Harmony House cats want to thank you in purrson for participating in the Walk for Cats. After the walk, enjoy some refreshments, visit with the cats and congratulate yourself on a job well done!

This award-winning design by Jeanie Ramos will be featured on the
2015 Walk t-shirt.
