This year's after-the-tour "WINE-DOWN" event will be held on the Arboretum's Founder's Courtyard at Jewett Interpretive Center. Explore the new Winter Display Garden, ask questions of the the garden's developers, and enjoy tasty treats, while recapping your day of touring with your fellow garden enthusiasts.
*Tickets for the Wine-Down can only be purchased thru the Arboretum. 21 and over only.
You have TWO DAYS to PEEK OVER THE FENCE at 5 beautiful local gardens and the Arboretum's new Winter Display Garden during the Yakima Area Arboretum's annual Garden Tour.

Linda and Sonny have incorporated their very early 20th century home and garden into a comfortable and welcoming space reminiscent of an earlier age. A gazebo, honeysuckle, colorful collections of glass and bottles, and bird houses create an atmosphere perfect for family and pets, who want to laze around on hot summer afternoons.
The new Winter Display Garden was installed this spring by Arboretum volunteers, staff and Elegant Landscaping and is the first of many projects outlined in the Arboretum’s Master Plan. Full of a carefully curated collection of trees and shrubs the new Winter Display Garden will be a place for visitors to stroll and relax in a comforting environment and take back ideas to create something new and special in their own home landscape.

On Saturday, June 17 treat yourself to the afterhours "WINE-DOWN" event surrounded by the beauty of the Yakima Area Arboretum and its new Winter Display Garden from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Listen to the dulcet tones of the Flute Troupe while enjoying wine, nibbling on light snacks, and recapping your day of touring with other garden enthusiasts. Tickets to the Wine-Down are $20 and can only be purchased through the Arboretum.
All proceeds benefit the Yakima Area Arboretum.
