About the teacher:   CATHERINE HILLIS has earned five signature memberships in watercolor organizations across the country.  Her work has been featured in many publications, including  American Artist Magazine , Elan’ Magazine, the Washington Post, Best of Virginia Artists and Artisans and, in May of 2011, she’ll be included in North Light Publications book, Splash 12, which will feature 100 top American watercolor paintings. Class Policies:

Late Registration:

• Late class registrations are accepted at the discretion of the instructor if space is available with no fee reduction.

Class cancellations:

• The instructor reserves the right to cancel any class, workshop, or camp that does not meet minimum enrollment.  If your class is cancelled, you will be notified by the instructor.

Inclement Weather Policy:

• Decisions on cancellations due to weather will be made two hours prior to the start of class and communicated by the instructor. 
• In the event of inclement weather, please contact your instructor for information on whether the class will be held.

Make-up Policy:

• Classed cancelled by the instructor due to weather or other emergency will be rescheduled as the calendar allows.  Credits will not be issued to participants who are unable to attend the make-up class. 

Refunds:  

• Refunds will be given at the discretion of ArtSpace Herndon.
• If a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, ArtSpace Herndon will refund the full registration amount.
• For all other reasons, the amount of a refund, if given, will depend on whether the class meets minimum enrollment after the cancellation, the timing of the request relative to the start of the class, the number of classes remaining, and will be less the administrative fee of $15.00.
• Any requests for class refunds should be made in writing (letter or email) no later than two weeks prior to the first day of the class.
• Refund requests should be sent to ArtSpace Herndon by email at info@artspaceherndon.com or regular mail to ArtSpace Herndon, PO Box 916, Herndon, VA 20172. 
• Please call 703-956-6590 to alert ArtSpace Herndon that you are requesting a refund.

The following activities are NOT permitted at ArtSpace Herndon:

• Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the facility. 
• Boisterous behavior is not acceptable.  ArtSpace Herndon and it’s representatives have the right to remove the user and/or any guest of the user that is not following the guidelines for the premises.
• The use of candles and any type of open flame is prohibited.
