The Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence is pleased to host a complimentary online webinar discussion on Monday June 14th: “Why Baldrige” The discussion wil highlight the benefits of using the Baldrige Framework, and applying to the Wisconsin Forward Award program. It will be facilitated by Steve Hoisington, a retired vice president of quality and safety at Flowserve, Inc., in Irving, Texas,a worldwide organization that provides engineering, project management, products, and service expertise for the challenges of fluid motion control.
Currently serving on the University of Wisconsin-Stout Foundation Board of Directors since 2015, Mr. Hoisington is also the past chairman of the board of directors of the Wisconsin Forward Award and a past board member of the Minnesota Council for Quality. He chaired the Juran Medal committee for the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as well as served on the ASQ Medal committee. He served as an examiner and senior examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for the National Institute of Science and Technology from 1993 to 2011. Mr. Hoisington is also a former appointed Judge of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. He has assisted with organizational improvement assessments in New Zealand, India, Europe, Mexico, Canada, and other parts of Asia.
