The coronavirus has created a unique time in which leaders must dig deep and call upon their inner fortitude to lead and support those they serve.
In response, the newly updated Baldrige Criteria has a renewed focus on defining and understanding the importance of resilience. This Criteria defines resilience with a twofold focus: An organization’s ability to (1) anticipate, prepare for, and recover from disasters, emergencies, and other disruptions, and (2) protect and enhance workforce and customer engagement, supply-network and financial performance, organizational productivity, and community well-being when disruptions occur.
