IBM Clarity 7 In-Class Training

Course:  IBM Clarity 7 Studio Template & Report Building (3-day hands-on instructor led classroom training (Group-Live))

Program Level:  Intermediate

Who Needs to Attend:   This intermediate course is for Administrators, Project Implementers, and Template and Report Developers.

Prerequisites:

  • Basic knowledge of IBM Clarity 7
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Excel formulas
  • Experience with financial/accounting principles

You will learn:

 1: Introduction to OLAP & IBM Clarity Key Concepts

2: Building IBM® Clarity OLAP Reports

  • Using the IBM® Clarity Studio Application
  • Creating an OLAP Report
  • Integrating Additional Features to Reports

3: Building IBM® Clarity OLAP Templates

  • Creating an OLAP Template
  • Integrating Additional Features to Templates

4: Using IBM® Clarity Security Services

  • Managing Users, Roles and Menu Items
  • Creating and Managing Hierarchy Security
  • Managing Clarity Administration Features            

5: Case Study Work Examples

  • Balance Sheet Monthly Summary Report
  • Income Statement Report

6: Troubleshooting Exercises

Participants will receive 21 CPE credits after successful completion of the 3-day program in the Specialized Knowledge and Applications field of study.
