   GRANT WRITING BASICS

Do you have a wonderful idea but lack the funds to make it happen? Do you want to help your pantry secure funding to help with expenses and programs? For folks like you, the world of grant writing is a magical one full of opportunity, if slightly complex. Join us for a workshop that will offer the basics in building a grant request, budgeting, goal-setting, and the like!

We’ll focus time on the different types of grants that are available, how to find opportunities and pick the ones best for you, the structure of a basic request, and how to report on projects funded by grants. You’ll walk away with the know-how to seek out the money you need to continue doing good work, and you’ll learn how to keep that money coming.

This session will be hosted by: Kate Heubner, Grants Manager Mid-Ohio Foodbank.
