Mr. Daniel Clifton is a Partner and Head of Policy Research at Strategas Research Partners, LLC. In this capacity, he evaluates Government policy initiatives and its impact on the united States and golbal economies, equity and bond markets and company balance sheets for institutional investors. Prior to this, Mr. Clifton served as a Federal Affairs Manager at Americans for Tax Reform and as a senior staff member at two gubernatorial administrations working on economic and fiscal policy issues. He also worked in various capacities on elections at federal, state, and local levels. Earlier, Mr. Clifton served as an Executive Director of the American shareholders Association. In this capacity, he was one of the lead lobbyists on the efforts to lower capital gains and divided tax rates to 15 percent, a repatriation tax holiday on foreign source revenue, and reform of the nation's pension system. Mr. clifton and his team have been recognized by Institutional Investor magazine in their annual survey for the past seven years. His research and political analysis on the interaction between legislation, policy and equity markets is often cited in the media. Mr. clifton is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg, and Fox Business News. He was a Fellow at the Eagleton Institute of Politics and a Harold Martin Fellow for Public Policy. Mr. Clifton received a Master of Science degree in Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Planning for Rutgers University.
