Owning a home is sometimes described as the American Dream, and it may be a dream you share. Are you ready to buy a home? This workshop will give you an overview on the basic requirementtobecome a homeowner  to become a homeowner.                                                                                                                          

As a potential homebuyer, we will go over rent vs. buy, affordability, understand the cost, interest rate, and credit requirements. The more you know about the basic home buying info, the more comfortable you will be about taking this big step.

Participants are provided with an introduction to the key steps in purchasing a home for the first time. Students learn how to prepare financially for the homeownership process - understanding how to plan not only for the mortgage process, but also the ongoing costs associated with homeownership, ensuring that participants will be able to remain in their homes.
