It is a real treat this month to have Wade Roitch of Yucca Do Nursery fame present on a past collecting expedition to Argentina and Brazil in search of interesting bromeliads and other plants in these exceedingly beautiful areas. This will be an educational insight into the natural growth habits of some species of Dyckias and other plants you may already grow, and others you wish you could add to your collection! Though the legendary collector nursery that introduced so many distinctive plants into cultivation is no longer open, this is a great opportunity too meet (or catch up with) someone who as made tremendous contributions to horticulture both through his own interests and knowledge, as well as his involvement in collecting trips with John Fairey and Carl Schoenfeld.
Join us at 3:30 for a tour and at 5 pm for refreshments and a great presentation.
