Mary McLaughlin-Davis, DNP, MSN, APRN-BC, CCM, became a certified case manager in 1993. She has provided care coordination services for inpatients, outpatients, and health care plans. Dr. Davis, as a Clinical nurse specialist, has worked extensively with patients having chronic disease, notably congestive heart failure and stroke. She is a Senior Director of care management for the Cleveland Clinic Health System and an adjunct nursing faculty member at Ursuline College. Dr. Davis serves as President for the Case Management Society of America, and is an active member of their Public Policy Committee. She speaks on care coordination topics both locally and at international conferences.

Paul S. Ciechanowski, M.D., M.P.H. is a psychiatrist who cares for individuals with diabetes who are experiencing behavioral health issues like depression, anxiety and self-management. He is also a UW associate professor.

Joyce Allen has 12 years of claim management experience and is one of Labor & Industries’ Outreach Specialist for the Return-to-Work Incentive Programs. Joyce uses a collaborative approach with employers to save them money by bringing injured workers back to work.

  • Poster presentations are limited to twelve (12) for this event. Attendees must visit a minimum of six (6) posters and receive presenter signature between the 7:45am and 1:30 pm to obtain the 1.0 CCM CE credit.

GIVEAWAYS:  Giveaways will be done during the lunch hour at the conference. Many exhibitors choose to bring a gift or basket as a prize giveaway item. It is not required but it is a fun way for them to interact and to collect attendee business cards. You must put your business card in their giveaway basket for a chance to win. We will have a specific time for giveaway announcements (during the lunch hour) where the vendors can bring their item up to the stage, take a few seconds to introduce themselves and their company and draw a name! You must be present to win. If you have already won an item, they will draw another name.
