PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Please join us for our August Monthly Meeting to learn about the case manager and the transitional placement agency, the types of transitional living options, ethical standards and state mandated procedures and more.

Objectives:

  • To learn the types of transitional living services that are available in a community and which are the best match for each senior.
  • To learn the WA state requirements for working with the vulnerable senior population
  • To understand the challenges in and partnership to a successful DC for a senior to a transitional living community / adult family home

ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS:


 Diane Lepsig, CSA, CAC, RHIA
,Owner, CarePatrol of the Eastside

Diane has had long career in sales and operations starting in telecom as a franchise owner then as a consultant.  With a desire to change careers she completed a Post Baccalaureate certificate in Health Information Management and worked for a SaaS based contract management software firm covering the US Skilled Nursing Facility market and then for the largest non-profit mobile text-to-give organization.  

After going through the difficulty of helping her in-laws and then parents navigate health issues and care requirements she researched and invested in a CarePatrol Franchise, the largest no-cost senior placement service in the nation.  CarePatrol of the Eastside is able to provide local personalized services supported by a national network of 150+ franchises and a depth of corporate programs geared towards seniors and the health care community serving them. Diane is a board member of WMCMA and on the Planning Committee Area Agency on Aging.


 Terri Wilson, RT, CVT
Director of Transitional Services, Puget Sound Region, Concierge Care Advisors

Terri’s entire career has involved working with and helping people. After
working more than twenty years in clinical settings for cardiac
catheterization laboratories and critical care situations, Terri has
transferred her education, experience, and passion for others into the
Senior care industry. Terri lives by one of her favorite quotes from Maya
Angelou: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will
forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

With an exceptional ability to work among generations, Terri builds special
relationships with Concierge Care Advisors’ clients. She has a very athletic
17 yr old son, Cory, and loves watching him compete because he wants to win
at everything. She is currently a Board Member of the Bellevue Network on Aging; Foss Foundation Board, and serves as Vice President of WMCMA.
