How does type enter into our daily relationships? With our partners, significant others, family and with our colleagues and community persons? Do we consciously think about type when working with another individual? And, do we do so more when it is someone where relationships seem fairly smooth or when things hit road bumps or both? Come to this experiential workshop to think through, listen, learn and share with other BAAPT participants. This is not a typical training but an interactive session to explore and learn more about ourselves and how we relate to each other.

ABOUT OUR PRESENTER Wendy Horikoshi, of Tranformative Leadership, www.transformativeleadership.net, coaches high potential leaders, executives and person seeking better uderstanding of themselves in transition, leadership, strategic action and organizational development. She also facilitates group coaching and small group workshops in communication and leadership. Wendy is an MBTI® Master Practitioner, has taught the MBTI Qualifying Program and has over 20 years in training and coaching with the MBTI. She utilizes the lens of type, cultural awareness and differences, alignment of mind, body and spirit as well as strategizing for optimal outcomes in her work and life. CAPT has published Wendy’s research on the use of the MBTI with Asian Americans. Additionally, Wendy is the co-author of Teamwork Tools: A Revolutionary Approach for Managers and Trainers, Kagan Publishing, contributor to Collective Wisdom, a self-help and inspirational book, and writer for Prism’s chapter on “Culturally aware coaching” in Coaching Skills for Nonprofit Managers, by Wilson and Gislason. Wendy has presented at BAAPT in couples presentations, and several times at APT International Conferences over the years. She is a past president of BAAPT. Type has been invaluable in understanding her gifts, working collaboratively with others and moving towards new pathways for discovering her calling and enjoying meaning in her life. As a consultant, type helps Wendy facilitate growth and development in her clients and discover to a deeper level who they are. Wendy has ISTJ preferences. |
