New! Please note that we begin at 9:00 a.m.  with refreshments and facilitated networking. The presenter begins at 9:30.

A majority of APTi members (and type enthusiasts) are said to have a preference for intuition. Perhaps for this reason, sensation is among the most poorly understood of the eight psychic functions as Jung identified them in his typology scheme. Many definitions of sensation found online are bunk, and it is frequently disrespected as a vital process.

During this interactive, multi-media presentation, Vicky Jo will bring you to a better understanding of the sensing function. We will explore the sensing function in depth, including:

  • What does sensation look like?
  • What does sensation feel like?
  • What does sensation contribute typologically?
  • How did Jung define sensation?
  • How do other type experts (such as John Beebe) define sensation?
  • How do introverted and extraverted sensation differ?
  • Why are sensation types sometimes hard to spot?

This presentation is geared to all level type learners.
