Beebe

Join us to hear John Beebe's approach to understanding the Feeling functions, distinguishing between the introverted and extraverted, and how they manifest in behaviors. Experience how we are impacted by unconscious, type-specific complexes in the culture. Get a feel for how one can usefully analyze a culture typologically.

Dr. Beebe will help us explore in this session:

  • Why did Jung insist that feeling is a rational function?
  • What are the hallmarks of introverted feeling and extraverted feeling?
  • How do these functions-attitudes manifest on the surface?
  • What can they contribute when they are highly developed?
  • Find out what the feeling functions look like when they are not preferred functions and are used defensively.
  • Learn to recognize whether a client's feeling preference is introverted or extraverted.
  • Be aware of what people most often project onto the two types of feeling.

Dr. Beebe will use film clips to demonstrate how the feeling functions can manifest even in people who do not have a feeling preference.

This presentation is geared to advanced type learners.
