ASM Day of Service - Belle Isle
Volunteer your time at Belle Isle and help clear and clean out the canals. Our work will focus on the 4D's:
- Dangerous
- Dead
- Dangling
- Down
Bring your own hand tools and water gear as you may be riding in a canoe pruning limbs and clearing debris along the canals! Chippers, Chipper trucks and a few Bucket trucks are needed as well. Lunch is on your own.
This event is possible due to support from the ASM Foundation, Michigan DNR and Belle Isle Conservancy.
Two (2) work time options are available: 8:00-11:30am or 12:00-4:00pm. Yes, you can work all day!
SCHEDULE
- Registration and Work Location begins at 7:30am
- Work Session 1 - 8:00am
- Lunch on own - 11:30am
- Work Session 2 - 12:00pm
