The most common reason for double fatalities in tree care is failed aerial rescue attempts – an emergency could develop any time one of your crews is aloft and your employees must know how to react. TCIA’s Aerial Rescue Training Program™ helps you protect your employees and meet the aerial rescue training requirements mandated by ANSI Z133.1 and OS.
Each attendee receives a book to review, instruction in a workshop regarding performing an aerial rescue, and the job site procedures to help prevent the need for an aerial rescue. The TCIA Tree Care Academy Aerial Rescue Program is a national credential that educates attendees and manual purchasers on aerial rescue procedures. This program also allows companies to keep track of training procedures their employees are educated in for MIOSHA and ANSI Standards. Training and practice are the best practices to keep our industry safe.
This Aerial Rescue Training is needed as one of the qualifications to taking the ISA Tree Worker/Climber Certification test.
CEUS - This course is approved for 4 CTSP credits through ISA and TCIA.
