Six Sigma: DMAIC (de-MAY-ick)

May 10th, 2018 - La Crosse, WI

Virtual Team Management: Creating a Culture of Success with Those You Can’t See

Session Description:

Primarily known for a tool to be used within the Six Sigma framework, DMAIC (de-MAY-ick) has many more applications as a solid framework for helping to see projects through from start to finish. Whether you are using Six Sigma, Lean, or any other type of project where the goal is to identify issues, optimize, or to reduce variation to get the most effective results from your processes, the DMAIC framework can help. Learn more about how this acronym and it’s steps (define, measure, analyze, improve, control) can help you to make a difference and ensure the changes or solutions you are implementing are getting to the root of the matter and you aren’t treating a symptom instead of the source.

About the Speaker:

Rob Ronnenberg

Rob started his career in Supply Chain Management and then began his journey down the path of Lean Six Sigma twelve years ago with an online White Belt training, from there he was hooked and kept learning more. After an intensive Kaizen training program in Georgia, he was facilitating Lean and other types of events for distribution operations around the Midwest in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois. Since then he has earned his Six Sigma Black Belt, spoken at conferences, done consulting work, and is part of a two person team that developed a training program to help a local business learn more about Lean and Six Sigma to begin developing a program with educating leaders in the organization. Working with people and helping them see the potential for how much they can improve their operation and satisfaction by making changes to how they approach their work is what gives Rob a passion for what he does.
