Introduction: Project Management Institute offers a comprehensive certification suite for project, program and portfolio practitioners of all education and skill levels.  In this presentation we will discuss project, program, and portfolio management trends and practice implications as well as the numerous benefits of obtaining a PMI certification.  We will provide an overview of PMI’s certification suite, with a special focus on PMI’s newest certification, the PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA).  We will also provide an introduction to the additional resources available from PMI.

About the Speaker: Alicia Burke joined PMI in 2013 and serves as Product Manager, Credentials for PMI’s certification team.  In this role she is charged with managing the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), and Program Management Professional (PgMP) certifications.  Prior to joining PMI, Alicia spent 15 years in the education software industry, including roles as marketing director and project manager. She holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
