PMI La Crosse - Rochester Chapter presents
"Rewrite the Story of Meetings with Phenomenal Facilitation"
January 29, 2015 - La Crosse, WI PMI Chapter Workshop
Session Description: We’ve all been in (or run!) weekly status meetings that get off track. Extra people show up, and it’s nearly impossible to stay on task. Attendees don’t pay attention, or don’t seem interested. Or worse—the meeting has no agenda or obvious purpose.
Meetings are a part of business culture. Harvard Business Review found that “15% of an organization’s collective time is spent in meetings—a percentage that has increased every year since 2008.” But meetings do not have to be a painful, unproductive, necessary evil. You can set your project meetings apart with this toolbox workshop that covers proven techniques for facilitating phenomenal meetings.
You will be introduced to different meeting formats and components, and be able to choose the tools that will work best for you and the people you lead. Learn how to transform your meetings into meaningful, productive, relevant events.
